π Description
The Mocha Longfin Clownfish is a striking designer variant of the classic Amphiprion ocellaris, bred for its rich coloration and elegant fin structure. This fish features a warm mocha-brown body with three crisp white bands β one behind the eye, one mid-body, and one near the tail β all edged in deep navy or black. Its long, flowing fins are the hallmark of the variety, with rounded tips and a graceful trailing motion that adds visual drama to any reef tank.
Unlike jagged or frayed longfin strains, the Sea & Reef Mocha Longfin boasts smooth, symmetrical fin extensions that maintain the fishβs natural swimming ability and balance.
𧬠Genetics & Lineage
This variant is the result of crossing a Black Ocellaris with an Orange Ocellaris, producing the mocha coloration. The longfin trait was selectively bred to enhance fin length while preserving health and mobility.
