🐠 Return & DOA Policy – CCA Aquatics

Live Arrival Guarantee:

  • We guarantee live arrival on all livestock shipments.

  • If your order arrives with any deceased animals, please email clear photos within 2 hours of delivery to qualify for a credit or replacement.

  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to receive the delivery in a good timely matter.

  • Include your order number, delivery timestamp, and any relevant notes

Returns:

  • Due to the sensitive nature of marine livestock, we do not accept returns on live animals.

  • Dry goods may be returned within 14 days of receipt if unopened and in original condition.

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Order Issues:

  • If you receive the wrong item or have concerns about your shipment, contact us within 24 hours. We’ll make it right.

Cancellations:

  • Orders may be canceled up to 24 hours before scheduled shipping.

  • After that, livestock orders are final.

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you receive a supply item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return or exchange.

1. 🐠 Livestock Sales & Availability

All livestock is sold on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.

We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders due to inventory changes or health concerns.

Livestock images are representative; individual specimens may vary in color, pattern, and size. The exception is those marked WYSIWYG in which case it is the exact item you will receive.

2. 🧼 Health Inspection Prior to Shipping

Every animal is visually inspected prior to bagging to ensure it is healthy, active, and free of visible signs of disease or distress.

We do not ship livestock showing signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behavior.

3. πŸ“¦ Bagging & Packaging Process

Livestock is bagged using oxygen-enriched water and double-sealed in leak-resistant poly bags.

Bags are placed in insulated shipping containers with heat or cold packs as needed to maintain stable temperatures.

Each shipment is packed to minimize stress and ensure safe arrival.

4. 🚚 Shipping & DOA Policy

We ship exclusively via FedEx Priority Overnight for livestock to ensure livestock arrives within 24 hours.

We strongly recommend selecting FedEx Hold for Pickup at a staffed location to keep livestock in a temperature-controlled environment until retrieval.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) claims must be submitted within 2 hours of delivery or pickup with clear photos.

Shipping delays caused by carriers or incorrect addresses are not covered under our DOA guarantee.

5. πŸ” Returns & Refunds

Livestock sales are final. We do not accept returns on live animals.

Dry goods may be returned within 14 days if unopened and in original condition. Buyer pays return shipping.

Refunds or store credit are issued at our discretion based on claim validity.

Orders may be canceled up to 24 hours before scheduled shipping. After that, livestock orders are final.

Canceled orders may incur a restocking fee.

Customers must research proper care, compatibility, and tank requirements before purchasing.

We are not responsible for losses due to improper acclimation, tank conditions, or incompatible species.

Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws regarding species ownership and importation.
